I find a complex beauty in these images. The point that is relevant is that we should look at everything and take it as it is. Zebras distinctive patternation enables it to hide in the crowd, or in plain sight. The diamond shapes are inspired by ordinary peoples sightings of unknown phenomena, be they technological or spiritual. This series of paintings is an homage to the writer Whitley Strieber. I'm interested in complexity. I'd like to see 30 or 40 levels of response to these works. It's up to the individual to decide and put forward their own response, and all I can do is encourage that complexity of response.
