About The Artwork

Polar Vortex is an abstract expressionist work depicting the polar freeze from the winter of 2013-2014- in it you can feel the winds blowing down from the mountains and settling with icy frigidity onto the towns. I have used gesture to give movement to the piece. This piece draws attention to the problem of climate change that we are facing.
