"Be Like a Tree" shows a human form in Mountain Pose combined with the silhouette of a tree. The tree and figure intersect and alternate between positive and negative shapes becoming one. The seven chakras are superimposed on top of the figure. The background is a green to blue blend, while the figure and tree are a rainbow blend of red, orange, green, blue and purple. The chakras are printed in a light yellow, somewhat transparent ink, down the midline. The tree represents physical and spiritual nourishment, transformation, liberation, fertility, growth and resurrection. The figure is rooted in Mountain Pose, the foundation of all standing postures. Mountain Pose is meant to make one feel grounded and balanced. It represents one's potential and the vastness of the possibilities ahead. The figure is grounded like a mountain but reaching towards the heavens like a tree. To “Be Like a Tree” means to be rooted in Nature but always reaching for the stars. To be "At Home in Nature” is to be grounded in nature, to feel its energy, align with that energy, and use that force to move us towards our higher selves.
