Para o belíssimo retábulo mor responderá toda a decoração do templo e seu acervo, tanto grades do Coro como o Retábulo Mor foram feitos pelo baiano Vitoriano dos Anjos Figueroa, de 1854 a 1862. Tudo é harmonia, cada elemento é importante e tem muito a dizer, cada sombra e luz nos leva adiante da matéria pura e simples demonstrando que o transcendente é construído nos pequenos detalhes. Esta fotografia faz parte do projeto "Catedral Metropolitana de Campinas", composto por 20 imagens P&B da Catedral. Campinas, 2016.
