About The Artwork
A photographic print of a collage, this image depicts the spirit known as Scirlin in the Grimoirium Verum. Scirlin is an intermediary spirit that a magician employs in calling other spirits. Here we have a magician hidden behind the beard of Scirlin as four spirits are called from the four corners of the world. It is a representation of a spiritual evocation. The image was composed of images from magazines and found object assembled on a background of oil pastel. Paper elements were cut using an xacto knife. The photographs are shot with a digital camera and printed on Hahnemuhle baryta paper. Each image is limited to 10 prints in 8"x10", 16"x20", and 32"x40". Prints are sold unframed, signed, and numbered.
