About The Artwork
A photographic print of a collage, this image depicts the astrological 2nd face of Aries as described in the medieval book of astrological magic, The Picatrix: "There rises in the second face of Aries a woman dressed in green clothes, lacking one leg. This is a face of high rank, nobility, wealth, and rulership. This is its form." The image was composed of images from magazines, found objects, and paper cuts assembled on a background of coins painted gold. Paper elements were cut using an xacto knife. The photographs are shot with a digital camera and printed on Hahnemuhle baryta paper. Each image is limited to 10 prints in 8"x10", 16"x20", and 32"x40". Prints are sold unframed, signed, and numbered.
