About The Artwork
A photographic print of a collage, this image depicts the spirit known as Surgat, a demon from the Grimorium Verum. This spirit is said to open anything that is locked or shut. He is a spirit that can open the veil between this world and the spirit world. The image was composed of images from magazines and found objects assembled on a painted background. Paper elements were cut using an xacto knife. The photographs are shot with a digital camera and printed on Hahnemuhle baryta paper. Each image is limited to 10 prints in 8"x10", 16"x20", and 32"x40". Prints are sold unframed, signed, and numbered.
