9.10.23. Recently I realized that I am not as open as I thought I was. For example, what I translate on social media in English, I cannot translate in my native language. Why? Because I am afraid of being misunderstood. In my childhood, I was often told to be silent, not to express myself, to just blend in... I had to draw “by the book”, following the rules of the classics. My creative side was pushed into a corner and forgotten. I wanted to work in advertising, but my parents believed that studying economics was not meant for a career in creative field. For a long time, I was scared of making decisions on my own. I needed approval from others. The world seemed dangerous to me. And I still approach people with caution. It was easier for me to stay up all night than to stop controlling the situation on a sleeping train. Creativity helps loosen this grip of thoughts, to trust more and open up to the world. Because when I leave the house and "put on a mask of indifference", I receive the same in return from others. **From my series “Introduction to Thoughts”:** Our thoughts are like a spider web, intricately weaving a invisible pattern of our personality. They shape our actions, mood, relationships with others, and, of course, our self-awareness. The series **“Introduction to Thoughts** immerses the viewer into the world of endless consciousness flow. Fragments of dreams and reality blend in the frames, creating a remarkable landscape of human psyche. I captured moments when thoughts dissolve within me, illustrating the influence of the inner world on the outer. Each photograph is like a puzzle that needs to be put together to understand the depth of human nature. Portraits would not be as expressive without a combination of abstract images and reality, without frozen moments in the eternal movement of thoughts.
