About The Artwork

I love the island of Procida. It is my soul refuge. It is a much simpler island than Capri, and more intimate than Ischia. An hour by ferry from the city of Naples across the gulf, the great Vesuvius in the background, the yellow rock of ancient volcanoes, the calm sea. I took this photo on a clear summer day. On the left you can see the fishermen village of Corricella, in the center the Terra Murata, the oldest part of the island. On the right, beyond the sailing boats, the fascinating profile of Vesuvius. The photograph is in very high resolution, with stunning details of houses, boats and the sea. Please see the other images to get an idea of the level of detail. Limited edition of 7. --- The photograph is printed with a giclée process using fine art pigments on a museum grade art paper: Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta or Photo Rag 308, both premium quality acid-free cotton papers that ensure an extremely wide range of shades. Signed below the image and on the back, and numbered. Comes with a signed Certificate-of-Authenticity of the artist. Checked and packed with the utmost care. This print is only available in this limited edition. Framing or dibond on request. For framing options or to enquire about different sizes or white borders, or for any other request, feel free to contact me. www.natalinorusso.com natalino.russo@gmail.com
