Prayer Mat beside closed Arabian Window Oman Portfolio Premium Quality Print, signed, numbered and dated on mount card, and on rear of print. Limited Edition 7 of 50 Mounted on creamy white mount card. Print size is 20.0 inches (H) x 20.0 inches (W). With mount card, overall size is 24.0" x 24.0". Shipped flat in cardboard box with Certificate of Authenticity. I took this photograph on color transparency film using a Hasselblad camera in the south Arabian city of Mirbat, Dhofar, Sultanate of Oman in 2001. A perfect Gift for Christmas or Birthday! I was fascinated by this old, frayed prayer mat hanging on a wooden peg in an abandoned house. To me, there was the additional charm of the upturned half coconut shell on the shelf behind, which may well have been used as a dipper for pre-prayer ablutions. The final ‘seal’ for me was the beautiful orange colors of the wall.
