About The Artwork
F N Souza was ab internationally acclaimed painter and a great friend for more than two decades. During my last meeting with him in Delhi, Souza liked my suggestion to make his paintings on my original photographs instead of tear sheets from magazines that he in turn offered me a joint exhibition in a prestigious Delhi Gallery. While leaving Delhi he selected about 200 images of various sizes of my work to work on them in NYC for our joint exhibition. He returned almost a year later, went straight to Mumbai fell ill n died n our joint exhibition never materialized.
