Photo from the project "Inverted seasons". The plants in the greenhouses reminded me of the climate problems we face. We cannot build a greenhouse for the whole world; as temperatures rise, more species are dying. We may not have thought much about climate change this year, but it is still with us. To draw people's attention to the rapid climate changes, I used a technique that involves painting images and inverting colours. In the new year of 2023, we experienced +15-degree temperatures in Central Europe instead of snowy weather. The glaciers are melting, and parts of Europe are at risk of becoming a desert. It is time to think about Anthropocene problems and how we can make our lives more sustainable. At the same time, I want to keep my images decorative and attractive to the viewer so that people will want to share them and spread information about climate change more actively.
