About The Artwork
I am sure that my ancestors were familiar with these same emotions and have been in this situation many times. Despite such historic burdens and obstacles, I know that they have still managed to celebrate life, love, their homeland, and God, by at least raising a glass of red wine. The Georgian love and appreciation of the supra or feasting at a full and generous table was not clearly understandable to me before, but analyzing events after the war I have realized that the ability to enjoy life, food, wine is one of a vital mode of survival and Georgian or Kartuli genetic code.
