"Guantanamo" Exhibition Exhibition planned at the Centre Pompidou in Paris on the Guantanamo detention camp. This is a priori a group exhibition bringing together artists from Western and Middle East. Early indications, this exhibition would aim to understand the perceptual mechanisms that crystallized in plastic around the Guantanamo prison. The question of law and identity are at the heart of this artistic event. It is already mentioned the work of a Lebanese artist who asked Internet users to design the identities of 240 prisoners through the game Sim City. An Israeli artist will make a performance: over 240 minutes, he will launch 240 shoes on a model supposed to represent U.S. President George Bush ; if the artist misses the target, his head is immersed in a bath where he will receive a discharge of low intensity. It is also talked about the work of an artist of the Emirates who has decided to paint his house and all objects found there in orange. 32 countries will be represented through 240 artists. Catalog announced for September 15.
