About The Artwork
Driving in the middle of the night through desolate everglades showcases beauty if you know where to look. The sky is lit with a billion stars that we as modern humans are no longer used to seeing because of our modern electric lit cities. On this night when I pulled over for a smoke and a view of the sky , the moon was full and obscured the stars mostly. But it also created shadows amidst light and darkness and the air was filled with sound of insects . You could observe a green firefly that was passing and shows up in front a dark hwy sign. There's mystery in the air and you always suspect an alligator just below the surface waiting for an unsuspecting passerby to strike for its meal or an elusive cougar moving through the brush. one night I could swear I smelled a foul skunk musty odor of what the natives call a skunk ape or the elusive and mysterious Bigfoot . . everglades 1:13:06 am 2020. limited edition works 1/3 signed and dated.
