About The Artwork
The start of a summer evening. I came upon a window I liked, and I liked the view of the urban landscape outside even more as the sun was setting and a rich dreaminess settled upon the cityscape. The sharp contrast of the window frame and its antiquated hardware and the softness of the world beyond is quite lovely, as is the proportion of this image. I've chosen to have it printed on archival matte finish paper for a rich texture. IMPORTANT NOTE: the image at 12" wide x 18" high floats on a larger piece of paper measuring 20.37" wide x 30" high. So the image is intended to float on this sea of creamy white textured paper.
