"Confessionário" O confessionário faz parte do mobiliário histórico do séc. XIX quando normalmente confissões eram realizadas no corpo da nave. Chegando o séc. XX a busca por maior privacidade tornou a peça apenas decorativa, uma vez que principalmente os homens requeriam espaço mais afastado do público. Com o Concílio Vaticano II a peça caiu praticamente em desuso, contudo, devem ser mantidos como registro histórico de uma época com seus costumes e regras, além do aspecto artístico que lhe é inerente. Esta fotografia faz parte do projeto "Catedral Metropolitana de Campinas", composto por 20 imagens P&B da Catedral. Campinas, 2016.
