Alysia Anne is a New Jersey born multi-media artist currently undertaking a full time practice-led PhD at Northumbria University. Statement I tentatively interrogate the idea of blankness, of fragmented and broken memories and visual perceptions through the investigation of amnesia and agnosia. My aim as a practitioner is to understand and represent the visual effects of these disorders, utilising photography as an external mediator.
