Born in Sudan khartoum . My work deals with the emotional side of death and other aspects, such as memories, grief and denial, which are influences of my religious background which is the Coptic Christian Orthodox church. I wanted to comprehend these experiences and influences, as well as understand the psychological state of my mind with the emotional distress that is generated. These works refer to my past and present experiences. These specific experiences have not only influenced my work, but have also become its backbone. The subjects are universal, such as death, emotional pain, suffering and anxieties. I see this as a method of enacting a significant withdrawn impression from my subconscious psychological state. The state of mind and emotions are entwined in an uncontrollable manner, which is part of human nature. I find the two cannot be separated.I am trying to transform these mental visual images that I am experiencing through their emotional content, into a physical form; to be able to communicate these issues, which are difficult to see or understand because of their state of non-physicality and invisible foundation.
