About The Artwork

Dopinder : I want to fill my soul. I want to belong to something, like you, Pool sir. Deadpool : Dopinder, you never cease to surprise me. You know, the depth of your heart is extraordinary. We all need a sense of belonging. We all need a genuine sense of home, a place... Dopinder : I want to become a contract killer. Deadpool : I'm sorry, what did you say? Dopinder : Remember when I kidnapped Bandhu and threatened him with great violence? Deadpool : Yeah, you kinda killed him. Dopinder : And remember the movie "Interview with the Vampire?" Deadpool : Don't want to. Dopinder : When Tom Cruise fed 10-year-old Kirsten Dunst blood for the first time. And she looked up at his smooth, handsome face and said "I want some more." Oh, Pool, picture me, a 10-year-old Kirsten Dunst. Deadpool : ...I'll never *not* picture that. But I can't wait to never speak of this, as soon as possible. Deadpool: I know what you're thinking: "I'm so glad I left the kiddos at home." But that's where you'd be wrong. That babysitter of yours is high as fuck right now. And believe it or not, Deadpool 2 is a family film. True story. And every big family film starts... with a vicious murder. Bambi, The Lion King, Saw 7. Deadpool: [to Cable] Zip it, Thanos! [Korg: Um, yeah, we don't actually say that name in here.] Dopinder : Oh, I shit my pants. Deadpool : Actually, that may have been me. Negasonic Teenage Warhead: We're X-Men. Deadpool: No, you're X-People. Negasonic Teenage Warhead: You're exhausting. Deadpool: I see what you did there. Puns. Deadpool : And that's why "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" is pure pornography. Dopinder : Wow! Domino : I really should have stayed in college… Deadpool: [fighting the Juggernaut] Hey, big guy, the sun's getting real low. Dopinder : Oh, mission accomplished? Wade Wilson : Well, in a George W. sort of way. Cable: You remind me of my wife. Wade Wilson: I'm sorry? Cable: I said you remind me... Wade Wilson: No, I'm sorry that you said that while making heavy eye contact and applying lip balm. Headmaster : All you dirty mutants are gonna rot in hell with the boy! Your souls are beyond redemption! Cable : [pulls out a knife] Let's see YOUR soul, perv! Deadpool : No! No! No! No more! We're better than that! We're better than him! No more senseless violence, no more bloodshed! We'll let karma take care of him. Headmaster : The day of reckoning is here! [Dopinder runs over the headmaster in his taxi] Deadpool : I'm gonna miss him. He seemed great. Dopinder : WHOO! COURAGE, MOTHERFUCKERS! Domino: ...And karma, motherfucker. Dopinder : You're my Tom Cruise! Deadpool : And you're my Kristen Dunst! [to himself] Deadpool : Kristen? Kirsten? from ‘Deadpool 2’ (2018) Starring Sugarbear (Home Sweet Home Alone), Vance Wilder (Free Guy), Morena Baccarin (Black Canary), Julian Dennison (Godzilla V Kong), Kristen Dunst (Spinal Tap’s Small Soldiers), Josh Brolin (Winnetka Road), Leslie Uggams (The Love Boat), T.J. Miller (Big Hero 6), Karan Soni (Safety Not Guaranteed), Brad Pitt ("THIS PLACE IS CURSED!"), Tom Cruise ("Respect the cock!"), Shioli Kutsuna (Unforgiven), Alan Tudyk ("Say something about her breasts."), Eddie Marsan (21 Grams), Terry Crews (Hale Caesar), Matt Damon ("Hi. Remember me? I'm Loki, the Angel of Death from Dogma. Now, if your kids are looking at you right now like, 'That's not Tom Hiddleston', just tell them I was Loki in the '90s, before it was cool. And I did it without the fake British accent. Anyway, for twenty years now, people ask, 'What happened to Loki at the end of Dogma? Did he go to Hell?' Heavens no. Pun intended. But I did almost unmake existence. So as punishment, God, who looks exactly like Alanis Morissette, banished me to life on Earth again. But not Wisconsin this time. Thank Christ. No. God dropped me in the Mediterranean Sea where I was rescued by Italian fishermen. I didn't even know who I was at the time. I had total amnesia. So after the events of Dogma, I guess you could say I was 'born again'. And what you're looking at now is, wait for it, my re-born identity. Oh, shit, pun game on point! You just got touched by an angel, son! Anyway, after driving for half a day, Jay and Silent Bob stopped in Chicago, where their lives would change forever."), Brianna Hildebrand (The Exorcist), and Zazie Beetz (Lucy in the Sky). Written by Ryan Reynolds (Buried), Rhett Reese (Zombieland), and Paul Wernick (6 Underground). Directed by David Leitch (John Wick). Deadpool created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza Deadpool 2 is a 2018 American superhero film based upon the Marvel Comics character Deadpool. It is the eleventh installment in the X-Men film series, and is the sequel to 2016's Deadpool. The film was directed by David Leitch from a screenplay by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, and Ryan Reynolds, who stars in the title role alongside Josh Brolin, Morena Baccarin, Julian Dennison, Zazie Beetz, T.J. Miller, Brianna Hildebrand, and Jack Kesy. In the film, Deadpool forms the X-Force to protect a young mutant from the time-traveling soldier Cable. Plans for a sequel to Deadpool began before the original film's release, and were confirmed in February 2016. Though the original creative team of Reynolds, Reese, Wernick, and director Tim Miller were quickly set to return for the second film, Miller left the project in October 2016 due to creative differences with Reynolds and was soon replaced by Leitch. An extensive casting search took place to fill the role of Cable, with Brolin ultimately cast. Filming took place in British Columbia from June to October 2017. The film is dedicated to stuntwoman Joi "SJ" Harris, who died in a motorcycle accident during filming. Deadpool 2 was released in the United States on May 18, 2018 by 20th Century Fox. The film outgrossed its predecessor, earning over $786 million worldwide, becoming the ninth-highest-grossing film of 2018, the highest-grossing film in the X-Men series, as well as the highest-grossing R-rated film. The film received positive reviews from critics, who praised its humor, cast performances, story and action sequences but criticized its tone and script. A PG-13-rated version of the film, titled Once Upon a Deadpool, was released on December 12, 2018 to mixed reviews. Following the acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, a third Deadpool film, set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is currently under development at Marvel Studios. Deadpool is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld, the character first appeared in The New Mutants #98 (cover-dated February 1991). Initially, Deadpool was depicted as a supervillain when he made his first appearance in The New Mutants and later in issues of X-Force, but later evolved into his more recognizable antiheroic persona. Deadpool, whose real name is Wade Winston Wilson, is a disfigured mercenary with the superhuman ability of regeneration and physical prowess. The character is known as the "Merc with a Mouth" because of his tendency to talk and joke constantly, including breaking the fourth wall for humorous effect and running gags. The character's popularity has seen him featured in numerous forms of other media. In the 2004 series Cable & Deadpool, he refers to his own scarred appearance as "Ryan Renolds crossed with a Shar-Pei" (Ryan Reynolds' name misspelled). Reynolds himself would eventually portray the character in the X-Men film series, appearing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), Deadpool (2016), and its sequel Deadpool 2 (2018). Reynolds attributes Cable & Deadpool #2 to what got him hooked on the character and inspired him to bring the character to the movies. He is confirmed to continue playing the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Source: Wikipedia

I’m (I am?) a self-taught artist, originally from the north suburbs of Chicago (also known as John Hughes' America). Born in 1984, I started painting in 2017 and began to take it somewhat seriously in 2019. I currently reside in rural Montana and live a secluded life with my three dogs - Pebbles (a.k.a. Jaws, Brandy, Fang), Bam Bam (a.k.a. Scrat, Dinki-Di, Trash Panda, Dug), and Mystique (a.k.a. Lady), and five cats - Burglekutt (a.k.a. Ghostmouse Makah), Vohnkar! (a.k.a. Storm Shadow, Grogu), Falkor (a.k.a. Moro, The Mummy's Kryptonite, Wendigo, BFC), Nibbler (a.k.a. Cobblepot), and Meegosh (a.k.a. Lenny). Part of the preface to the 'Complete Works of Emily Dickinson helps sum me up as a person and an artist: "The verses of Emily Dickinson belong emphatically to what Emerson long since called ‘the Poetry of the Portfolio,’ something produced absolutely without the thought of publication, and solely by way of expression of the writer's own mind. Such verse must inevitably forfeit whatever advantage lies in the discipline of public criticism and the enforced conformity to accepted ways. On the other hand, it may often gain something through the habit of freedom and unconventional utterance of daring thoughts. In the case of the present author, there was no choice in the matter; she must write thus, or not at all. A recluse by temperament and habit, literally spending years without settling her foot beyond the doorstep, and many more years during which her walks were strictly limited to her father's grounds, she habitually concealed her mind, like her person, from all but a few friends; and it was with great difficulty that she was persuaded to print during her lifetime, three or four poems. Yet she wrote verses in great abundance; and though brought curiosity indifferent to all conventional rules, had yet a rigorous literary standard of her own, and often altered a word many times to suit an ear which had its own tenacious fastidiousness." -Thomas Wentworth Higginson "Not bad... you say this is your first lesson?" "Yes, but my father was an *art collector*, so…"
