About The Artwork
The 'Window' series of paintings were painted in response to the 2020 Covid 19 pandemic and being isolated in lock down. 'Window on Contemplation' was the third painting in the series and is about the position the artist found themselves in and the thought processes once the pandemic had settled in and change had become inevitable. How much can you change and adapt to a situation when your life depends on it? The painting is presented in a white wooden frame with fixtures and fittings in place. Copyright remains with the artist.

I like to create a story which is not immediately apparent. My inspirations are Paul Klee, Mark Rothko and Kandinsky. I like the use of vibrant colour and shape. As a child I was inspired by my mum who is an artist in her own right.
