Why you afraid of your-self? Painting

Born 14 of April 1982 in Lublin (Poland) ,, I am an artists by default, I am not sure if I chose it or chose me...?'' ''...I have great interest in the human face and figure. Drawing is at the centre of everything I do. I use most mediums mainly acrylic, watercolour, black pen or a mixed media college on paper and sometimes on canvas. In some works, I like to combine figurative images with abstraction which gives certain works a fragmentary nature...'' Agnieszka Krystyna Bak has been exhibited in and sent commissioned work to a variety of countries including UK, Dubai, Usa, Italy, Germany and Spain. She is currently living and working in north London on a variety of pieces for a series of works due to be exhibited in Poland. Originally from Poland, Agnieszka has now been living on London 5 years. The first few years were spent travelling around seeing the world. More recently she has spent her time focusing on painting, developing her own style and exploring her artistic flair. Photo-realistic art was not a style she generally used 2 years ago, preferring the challenge of creating illustration-expressions paintings. However, photo-realistic art portraits have proved to be popular. To avoid being pigeon-holed and to challenge herself, Agnieszka paints in a variety of styles: Comics, Figurative, Fantasy, Photo Realism, Abstract, Contemporary, Minimalism, Retro, Landscapes, Portraits and Monochromatic imagery. Most works are pre-sold, commissions sold around the globe. Some of these works are displayed in the Visage Gallery 56 in Surbiton and a couple are in the Play Bar in Old Street. In 2004-06,Agnieszka had numerous exhibitions in Poland ,special in her home town Lublin. In the near future she plans to have two exhibitions in London and another in Bahrain.
