About The Artwork
This work was my first attempt at an ink wash technique using ink watercolor, and guache on paper. The effects of the technique have given the image a gritty yet polished texture that mimics the milieu of the D.C. metropolitan area. This work is another collaboration with artist Jarrett Christian Durney, inspired by his portrait photograph.
