I have been painting all my life, it being my heritage, living through art was never something that seemed like an impossible fate. the lives we lead make up our art, the places we choose, the nights we wake, the world we see and moments we treasure, the friends that are oursy man finds equal inspirations in all the above, but of his own life's adventures. there is a time for city life and all its vibrancy, the need to be seen, the important functions to attend, a time for working together, to exchange ideas, inspiring one another through interaction, those have a place in our work as well. but then, there comes a time to reflect and become quiet, find the space and the peace to appreciate life...when all one has experienced finds fulfilment. for this one moment and by no means an everlasting one, will give us the strength to paint. eternally hopeful, beate tügel
