SOLD 'Upside Down Study' acrylic on board. Painting of Skinny Redhead performing the art of self suspension. I chose this pose because of the strength and tension. I love the fact she looks serene and elegant, that she has poise but that you can see the tension and effort in her neck. She performs self suspension, transforming a traditionally dominant/submissive practice by taking on both roles of rigger and sub and creating a new form of autonomous, performative bdsm.
