About The Artwork
After painting the children series I created in 2009 for over a decade, I decided to challenge myself by making the child a main character and a shadow allowing the other creatures of the painting emerge. I decided to "let go" of trying to make everything have a place or make sense. I gave myself total freedom to "not think" too much and enjoy each unknown along the way until the painting came to its end.
