About The Artwork
The work of art was inspired by Itzamna who was the Mayan founder of Maize and Cacao. After visiting the Mayan ruins in South American, the artist wanted to capture some of the spirit and wonder from that journey which is presented in this work. The black and white creation was completed in 2019 and uses only black and white acrylic paint on canvas. Hanging hardware is in place and wired. The work of art is packaged and shipped carefully from our studio to your home or business with care. Wonderful piece.

Born and raised near the beach in Southeast Texas, have lived in many different states and countries, currently live on the coastal waters of Galveston bay. Being a "Renaissance Man" as my friends call me, my wealth of knowledge has matured over the years and shows in my work. With over 35 years of painting and photography, I continue to grow and refine my creations. 2015 was in 100 buses in Raleigh area with Art on the Move for most of the year. I have won several awards, in galleries, and currently on display at the USDA Gallery in Washington, D.C. I grew up around nature. Horticulture, flowers, and various works in wood, stone, and other media have moved me to painting on acrylic on canvas and other media.
