The Rays Self Portrait In Expectation of Radiance Painting

"When lightness fast the liquid land attacks I dream in wakeful dreams In mist...one by one the objects pale Come into view from darkness sparse..." The above is an exerpt from poem that I've written that inspired this painting, invoking the hope and radiance that dawning light brings. The rays filter into darkness, illuminating all we know. The veiled Queen--a recurrent theme in my work--is reflecting and anticipating the moment of illumination, of light--another of my favorite themes--as a metaphor for overcoming hardship and for brighter times ahead. This painting is executed in acrylics on fine art paper. It is signed as are all of my pieces.
