In my work I begin with objects I find on my way through the city. The city's facades, signs and overall contours. The essence of the objects I find is that they have an immediate fascination and is exciting to explore. The meaning of the object and function comes second. The shapes of the objects transform from their familiar context to painterly compositions. Geometries are stacked and arranged. The scaling shifts into new shapes, edges, contours and structures.
