I loved how this old barn was surrounded by the sweet autumn clematis even growing out of the side of the barn. How wonderful I thought if even as we age if we too could be surrounded by such a sweet scent and clothed in such lovely flowers. What a gift that would be. Something to think of. No need for a frame the sides are painted. Wired and ready to hang.

I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC, USA and after living many other places am once again living in Raleigh, NC. I love painting landscapes using either a brush or palette knife with oil. I love the texture a palette knife brings but what ever tool I use I paint more impressionistic. I only use my own photographs for my work to inspire me or to get me going.
