Suspended Solitude: White Painting

I'm inspired by nature and passionate about plant life, especially flowers. I spend a lot of time taking photos of flowers wherever I go so that I can use them as references in my paintings. The flow of ideas never stops. I find them mesmerising and enchanting. I try to capture some of the beauty of the flowers I paint in my artwork although this is impossible as their beauty changes every day. In this series - 'Suspended Solitude' I am looking at the rose and reflecting on loneliness and being one by yourself, alone. Sometimes we have to be the light that others can find in the dark.
