About The Artwork
This piece is part of my summer agave series that I paint while in Central Mexico in the summer. The summer rains promote new growth and the plants are quick to take advantage of this fertile time. They open up to the offering. This piece is painted in oils on a thin 4mm aluminum composite panel. It has an aluminum frame on the back that allows it to float off the wall for a very contemporary look. There is no need for framing. The piece weighs no more than 15lbs.
