About The Artwork
This painting talks about a difficult relationship. About two people trying to make their marriage work when they are just too different or drifted apart too far. Everything in the painting refers to feminine or masculine traditional roles in a symbolic way. The Lego brick and the puzzle part , as objects supposed to join others of the same kind but here finding that impossible as they belong to different games, are a metaphor to the difficulty of communication between two components of a couple and /or between different gender.

I live and work in Lisbon,I have a degree on Painting,I exhibit regularly since 1988,I´m a Painting teacher in a private school in Lisbon, I´m part of a popular pop band called Ena Pa 2000 and a mother of two.
