Strong Painting

For man, caught in the material world, Art is one of the best possibilities of grasping the reality of the invisible and subtle world. "Andre Marzuk" My name is Nellie Amiri but I like to use my short name Nell for my art. I have been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember but I never had a chance to do it seriously until now. I have Bachelor of Science in Statistics, and graduate diploma in Web Design. Although I studied Math, I always got my heart in art. I have a diploma in Eastern Folk Art and Needle work, also a certificate in Textile Design. I continually studied art up today. For me having a chance to paint or create is a dream come true, it is something that I must do, like a breath you must take every moment. I think art is a language, the language of the soul. When the soul comes to the material world, it carries secrets that cannot be put into words. In painting you can tell those secrets, you could connect to the creator, tell him your secrets of love. My works are in private collections in Canada and the United States. Currently I live and work in Toronto, Canada.
