This painting is one in a series named" Farewell to the landscape" in square format, inspired by Chinese Philosophical painting where the empty is as important as the full, where the line is transformed into a sign, linking the visible to the invisible, but also by the Impressionism, where the air transforms the motif to leave only an impression. I try each element to make a scene in itself. In this painting, the line becomes a sign, the tree twists under the weight of the unleashed nature and becomes abstract in the silent immensity. I invite the viewer to connect to the fragility of this moment and question him about the ephemeral of the living and its disappearance. Acrylic on canvas. The sides are also painted. Varnished matt, including UV protection. Ready to hang.

Germany
I was born in France. After graduating from Ecole du Louvre in Paris where I received a classical education in History of art and the inspiration for my future work, I worked in the museum section. From self-taught artistic training I exhibited my silver process photographs on the theme of reflection of nature in water according to the size of the aperture, effect of light and wind. I picked up the brushes once again in 2013 for my project:" the Nympheas and Japanese Screens" and exhibited in Germany where I live and work. I don't paint what is visible, I recompose an image according to what reality makes me feel. I dig up a memory or a photo, and I work with several layers of glazes of pure pigments blended with a combination of mediums. As the image is rebuilt, the lines are transformed into symbols and leave only an impression. My painting represents an instant of my present life connected to the past.
