Shona Stone Painting

This painting was not in the least bit planned, other than the colours. When it was done, I was a bit confused at the outcome, but there were too many symbols to ignore. A shona stone is a carving done by the shona people on a specific type of rock that one must travel to find. it contains the spirit of the artist and a loved one or a moment in time.
