About The Artwork

This painting is inspired by tradition in Shamanic symbols and tradition in healing. It is made at Art Colony "Art Point Gumno" in the village of Sloeshtica, Central Macedonia. The certain atmosphere in the village (village where famous macedonian writer Petre.M.Andreevski was born) and the local folk stories gave me positive energy and idea to use my painting as a symbol of healing. Circle in the middle of the painting with stylized horns on the upper side of the painting suggest stylized animal head. The warm ochre color and different subtile strong colors including cobalt blue forms ethno atmosphere. The side edges are painted so it doesn't need decorative frame.
