Serenity Painting

I was born in India and currently reside in California since the last 15 years. My background is an MBA in Finance and MA in Economics and I have worked in various corporate positions for many years. However, since the last couple of years, I have switched careers to pursuing my true passion, painting and working as a full time artist. I am largely a self taught artist who enjoys the lack of any rules in art and painting, which makes my work free flowing, uninhibited, bold and colorful. I have worked in many mediums over the years but I love the freedom of big, bold, tactile strokes and multi-layering that oil painting allows, and is my current area of focus. My painting style is a mix of abstract and semi abstract portrayals of nature in its full splendor
