A mysterious light appears behind the dark, steep silhouette, shining with a brilliance that pierces the ambient density. It seems inaccessible, trapped by an impassable environment doomed to eternal night. The expanse of water in the foreground contributes to the ambient darkness by offering a space without clarity except a few bright reflections. In my landscapes, I always prefer the relationship to light. Even if the latter should almost not be represented, it is always present in one way or another because I do not conceive of painting natural elements without taking into account its creative function. The effects were obtained only with brush and acrylic, without adding mediums or gels, only a dilution with water allowed the creation of melts and glazes. https://youtu.be/dwduBXIH3Zo
