About The Artwork
I often paint watercolours in Sanary, one of my favourite harbours on the mediterranean sea in southern France, because it's still largely unspoilt. There are a lot of 'pointus' , traditional fishing boats and the atmosphere is always pleasant whatever the season. I tried to convey this atmosphere in this watercolour. I often use the watercolours made on location as studies for oil paintings. It is sold framed (ivory coloured mount , backing cardboard, varnished wooden frame, glass) ready to hang
