About The Artwork
Painting inspired by the colours of nature in springtime, with references to insects, bees flying routes and pollination. With the abstract style, I try to convey the complexity of our environment, which encompasses more phenomena than we can realize with our senses. I have used gesso, pumice powder and silica sand to create textures on hard cardboard. Then I used charcoal for mark making, acrylic paint and other acrylic media.
