Quasi Infinity 'the delusion that one is progressing. 'Retribution' is an expression of the difficulties I had, as a young child and teenager, relating to or recognizing authority. In any walk of life if you don't play by the rules and do as your told your regarded as an outsider by those who think they're on the inside. The figure on the steps is a red robe judge, who, to me in my late teenage years represented the punitive, oppressive side of life. Retribution is about role reversal, it somehow satisfies the soul, more than words ever could.
