About The Artwork
When I started this painting, I didn’t know where I was going at all, I was determined to let chance first act to better control what would emerge. The square format was used to promote a balanced image. I worked with diluted colors to accentuate their transparency and preserve the light related to the support. Through the play of more or less contrasting elements, it emerges as a musicality that would be based on a single note, varying in intensity in places.
