Ok Well here's the story about this painting. Please look at all the photos I have added. Thank you! also please read the entire listing. Condition is detailed. This is a piggyback/altered/ revamped painting from a vintage painting, I bought a bunch of vintage 1940s nude study paintings about 15 years ago in a now defunct thrift store in Atlantic City, New Jersey for $1 each. Unsigned. I kept them until the muse called me to alter the painting. The canvas was originally painted in oil. Also due to age, the canvas in the back is browning. I used Art Deco paint pens to create an abstract/punk atmosphere. This painting is so punk and is an homage to the punk scene. Abstract forms dance around the figure. I have added a crown to the woman's head. The painting is unframed and like I said before due to the age it is browning on the back and the canvas is loose on top. This painting would look specular in a gold wood frame. I have signed the front and the back. Selling " as is"

Born USA. I started making art at the age of 21. I was admitted on the spot to the San Francisco Art Institute upon showing the Dean of Admissions my portfolio of Thurberesque Drawings with funny captions. Much of my artistic inspiration from my flea market finds ( vintage & rare ephemera), my huge unusual vintage, children's book collection, dance & burlesque performances, icons, symbols and images from all kinds of religions and my exploration into personal relationships. Although I have a distinctive style, I have explored many mediums- collage, painting, drawing, print making & fabric design, digital art. Some of my work is pretty and decorative but I also create ugly & raw paintings. These self therapy paintings are meant to be ugly and humourous . Kitsch, fashion, phtography, film, Children's art, German expressionism, Matisse, Dufy, Nolde, Redon as well as unknown outsider & folk+ art brut artists are have contributed to my style.
