About The Artwork
Lotus flowers are, along with orchids, exotic and mysterious creations of Nature. Orchids grow on trees naturally while Lotus flowers reign supreme in ponds and lagoons, even swamps. Due to the transparency and strong pigments the painting required, I opted for using acrylics. My work also was conceived to show the solace and peace we can find in their rare habitat.
