About The Artwork
Purple Haze was made in March as the first lockdown or shelter in place was mandated. I felt confused, disoriented as the shock of a new reality became real. The song “Purple Haze” by Jimi Hendrix went through my psyche. That “Thing” (not girl) put a spell on me. “Don’t know if it is day or night.” The hallucinogenic colors are related to the song and the surrealism we all experienced together.
