About The Artwork
This artwork is a manifest against monstrous technology of reality misrepresentation and public opinion manipulations that has revived in Russia. It is a protest against any form of collective dogmatic irresponsible thinking, against renunciation of critical and independent world-view. Propaganda serves the mercenary interests of power clans and exploits natural human demand for self-actualization and self-assertion, providing false but comfort justification of sluggish, hypocritical and inconsistent way of thinking. The victims of propaganda don't concede of, or prefer not to think about, the terrible price to be paid for short comfort of illusions and don't realize how this imaginary comfort quickly turns into misery. Oil on canvas. Size: 70 x 100 cm. Artwork is signed on the back. Sold unframed. This work will be shipped in a hardboard-reinforced waterproof package.
