About The Artwork
Orange is a colour I have at times been too afraid to use. This is an experimental piece involving multiple layers of fine tissue paper, acrylic paint and stencilling. The long pieces of orange tissue that form the primary structure of the work reminded me of tunnelled out underground pipes. So this became my experiment in orange, adjacent tones, and a pipeline to discovery. Here’s to orange! 🍊
