About The Artwork
I made three gesso panels to be assembled as one artwork. I was interested in breaking down the marks made in my paintings and used a very limited colour scheme to explore the movement of the paint. The movement created swirls inside the frame, whilst simultaneously travels out of each panel and spills into the other. The panels are mounted onto a mdf backing board and framed in wood.
