Art Description

This portrait is a reference to the style of Italian painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo. I tried to explore the state of dehumanization through information overload and excessive dependency on technology. The portrait is an mixture of technology, anatomy and symbols.

Vanessa Navarrete This is amazing; so soulful. A little more Basquiat-esque to me than Arcimboldo. But its really just original. I love it and shared it.

Darius Martin Thank you Vanessa! Good observation, in my student years I was obsessed by Basquiat's raw style and visual "aggression". I guess some of it is still there. :D
